Pf settlement

(Querist) 12 November 2011 This query is : Resolved
Dear Experts,
My name is Vijay Jaiswal. I was employed in HDFC Life Insurance.I left the company in Jan 2011, after my resignation I had submitted pf withdraw request with necessary documents. Now,after 10 months, I haven't received any payment from the company. And despite my continuous reminder company's compensation department doesn't reply my correspondence. Company's local HR told me that pf settles after 90 days from resignation. But, compensation department at Mumbai head office doesn't confirm the same. I have contacted Regional PF Commissioner' Office, Bandra, Mumbai, but no result has been come out. I just wanted to know that What should I do now to get my pf payment.

yes normal course of time if any one resigned those who are eligible to file the settlement form after 60 days and from the date of filling it will take 30 days for processing matter, so with in or before 90 days the claim will be settled. then from the last salary.

You can ask under RTI that, what is the reason that your withdrawal is not being settled within the stipulated period ? My sister had the same problem and I took recourse of RTI and the relevant assistance found on the links as suggested

Dear Sir,
As per provisions under the EPF & MP Act and schemes framed there under, one has to wait for two months before filing the claim forms. Once forms are received by the RPFC, these are to be settled with in 30 days of receipt ,failing which RPFC is to be held as deficient in services.
Here in this case, already limitation period for settlement of claim is over and if the member is having proof that the claim papers were recd. by RPFC, he can seek remedy from Consumer Dispute Redressal Forum , as in my opinion, claims in Bandra office take months together to settle the claim because of pendency of claims etc.
