sir,
my father died in road accident so we got compensation from insurance company via court,but my sister is minor her amount is deposited in union bank of india by the court until she is major, we dont no about how many years the amount is deposited etc.,shall we have the rights to ask via by RTI ACT 2005 from the bank,whether we have the rights to change the bank who offering higher rate of interest plz give me guidance via mail dineshrajaips@gmail.com i will be grate ful to u in this regard.

So far the period of FDR is concerned, it might be depicting on the face of FDR in your possession. You carefully read it or may enquire from banker.
So far as change of banker is concerned, you cannot do without the permission of the court. You have not chosen the bank rather generally courts decide in which bank to maintain FDR.

If the amount is deposited for yur sister you cannot make RTI query as the infromation is held infiduciary capacity andbarred b section 8. If the bankis non-govt then no RTI is admissible at all.

you can see period of FDR on itself and application to change the banker can be moved by your sister's guardian stating that she is bearing loss of interest. generally courts have liberal attitude to such kind of applications.

please FDR with Whom??
you can't get information without the consent of your sister. It is covered u/s 11.
It would be better ask information by your sister directly.
