I am a tenant under the pagdi system in Mumbai at (malad west)since 1970.my room are my mother name .he is dead in 23 march 1999 & my father are also dead in 14 feb 2006 recant my family are residing there. i m regular pay rent by chq. to landlord recant i paying APRL-2012.but recant landlord are not accept rent me only he is say not u my tenant so i not received Ur chq. and if you pay rent more than Ur organically rent than i accept ur chq. he is want me more than RS.2500-PM. (This AMT are pay by cash) recant i paying Rs.1500/-pm by chq.This building are 60 years.
Plz suggest me. plz urgent ans.

in Mumbai to get premises for rs 2500 is peanuts . in malad current property rate is more than 10,000 per square feet .
you are in posession since 1970 . bairgain with landlord and settle the issue . from rs 1500 say you are agreebale to pay rs 2,000 . if he dosent agree pay rs 2500

sirji he is want actual rent amount of Rs.4000/- pm. what i do . if landlord are go to court then how mach are expenses for court case.Plz suggest ME. PLZ ANS.
