on the basis of Oral family without producing any evidence they entered their names in patta jamabandi and they claimed that property is for them, it is valid ? Oral family arrangement is legally valid ?

I discourage such abstract questions which do not expose facts.

If family settlement was to arrive at partition between co/or joint owners, it was quite lawful.

three sons, one agricultural land, in the name of 3rd son that land was transferred saying that there was oral family settlements
other sons denying.
that mutation was valid or not?
any case law plz.
