Interest calculation

Dear sir's ,

In a recovery suit the DHR filed the execution petition. the decretal amount is some of Rs 95000/- . The total amount which the JDR has to be paid Rs 1,80000/- in 2009. The JDR get stay in 2011 after depositing the decretal amount of Rs 95000/- before the court. now my question is how to calculate the interest for EP . EP filed in 2009 , JDR deposited decrettal amount in 2009, Now i have to calculate interst for 3 years from 2009 to 2012 of the EP ?? or from 2009 to 2011for which he was deposited the decrettel amount ?? Please clarrify ..

Interest is calculated from the date of filing of suit till its realisation.
