a false complaint has been filed against a reputed person by a lady who was a domestic help in the house. she filed a complaint and the cops came for enquiry and the matter was settled. again she filed a complaint and this type she filed it against the whole family. in the complaint she says that she has been raped and they hurt her husband and they also use weapons like bombs and they were hurt. the police know it is a false complain. can u tell me how to handle this case legally...as the family is being troubled and they want to extort money from them... thank you

There is no short cut way to handle ti case.
If he case is false then what is the worry?
Wait for trial when all of you would get acquitted.
Without seeing the FIR , I could not say whether Quashing would lie or not.

I think no case has been filed but complaint has been made to police to which police also has not paid any reliance. Even then the so-called victims have to face humiliation. it shall be better to make a complaint to police to initiate action under section 182 against the complainant.
