Lease hold house

We have family property in the name of my father.Both my father and mother died few months back. The property is Leadehold. What is the procedure to sell a lease hold property. Its a ancertral house wherein one third is in the name of my father. Is there any way we can lease hold property.Will there will be any amendement in the time to come to sell leasehold property ???

The leasehold property can be sold where only the leasehold interest is transferred.
However of your parents were not is its full share holders then you can transfer only their designated share.

You can very well sale the share of your father by way of registered sale-deed clearly mentioned therein the leasehold word.

Law in this respects is very clear that a seller cannot give better rights to the buyer and now it depends upon the buyer to purchaser such property or not.
