Sir,, Just to inquire : One of my frined his dad was goverment employee in BSNL as Shramik (Helper)and his dad die few days ago due to some liver problem before retirement,,
Now he is the one who has responsibility to feed bread n butter to his family..his age is 25yr old
Family went to BSNL office where his dad was work and request that they want to take over his dad job.
The office said that the is no such kind of rule that job should be offer to family member and plus there is age limite to hire people for govt job.
Please advice whats rules and term condition, Is there any book or web side where we can find out the rule of BSNL.
His dad was not on big post ,, i trust its possible to carrie forward job to family member .
please advice

Inquire, is there any provision or rule regarding dying in harness in BSNL ?. Or Ask the same and ask related rules under RTI.
I heard there is no such provision in central govt. jobs now, but according to my knowledge it still applies in State Bank Of India.

Its been asked and the officer replied that there is no such rule in govt to offer job or carry forward job to any family member,
Family is confuse and try to find out the rule in BSNL to confime...
Is there any way to find out BSNL Provision term and policy.

Unfortunately such scheme has been closed in BSNL since 1st April 2003.

Carry forward job is not the right. Govt jobs are not ancestral. You query to BSNL is wrong.
There are Govt instructions on compassionate job to family of deceased employee (a concession not a right).

There is no provision of Compsasionate job in BSNL since the day it acquired the status of a company.
