Change the name in property document

Dear Sir,
My father had purchased a property in my name in Bihar state when I was minor. Mistakenly my nickname is mentioned is registry document. How we rectify the name in the original registry paper.
ii) The saler is not sharing the Jamabandi no. to transfer the property in block document. Can we take any legal action against him? What other remedy is available to rectify this?

you r father ought to have taken precautions while purchasigng the property . you cannot force the seller now to coperate as he had executed all documents at that time .

A publication in the news-paper on your behalf that your nickname and original name are of one and single person and you are known in both names shall be suffice as Rectification deed is not possible without the cooperation of seller.
