Marriage registration

Marriage has taken place as per Hindu Marriage Law five years ago, now for registration of marriage with sub-registrar what is the procedure for the same.why permission of SDO is required

both you and your husband have to go to marriage registration office . fill in requisite forms . enclose marriage invitation card , certificate of pandit , identity proof ,and 2 witnesses have to be present

As your marriage was not registered at the relevant time and it is to be got registered at this stage so you need to obtain the specific permission of SDO (Civil-cum collector of the area and only then the Registrar of Marriage shall register your marriage.
