Certificate problem

sir,
at the time of joining a contract company i had submitted my original mark sheets of 10th, diploma mark sheets. according to the contract they didn't give me salary so, i just quit from the contract but they refused to give back my certificates. what can i do for that sir? please take me to the correct decision....

You can lodge a diary to the Police and send a legal notice to the said company, failing which you can file a criminal case u/sec.420 and 406 IPC in Magistrate Court.You can seeks alternative relief by submitting a complaint to the Labour Directorate and file case in Labour Tribunal.

Your documents cannot be retained by your ex-employer. This is nothing but a criminal offence punishable under section 406 of IPC coupled with section 420 of IPC. File a complaint with police.
