Property partition

A land is in the name of my grandfather. My grandfather was died. My father has 4 Sister & 1 Brother. My Father & My Uncle want to divide the Land & My all aunties (Buha)ready to give their share to their brothers . now i want to know the way of partition is it by way of decree or registry.

The 4 sisters can execute a registered release deed and relinquish their shares. Then, your father and uncle can execute a partition deed between them.

it depends upon court fees charged in your state . legal fees , out of pocket expenses . contact a local lawyer . he will give you a quote

Release deed is not filed before any court. Release deed is to be got executed before Tehsildar/Registrar/Talathi (whatever the name is given in different states). The stamp duty is very nominal in this process. It can be got done within a period of 2 hours. Mutation shall follow the release deed.
