Validity of converted petition u/s.13b

(Querist) 07 June 2013 This query is : Resolved 
A divorce petition u/s.13(1)(ia)was entered by wife before 1 year completion of marriage in family court. The same petition has converted into Mutual Consent Divorce petition (u/s.13b) after two years completion of marriage. Is this petition of mutual consent divorce (u/s-13b) valid in the eyes of the law?(becasue the earlier petition was entered before one year of marriage)

Yes, it is valid since one year is passed thereafter.

Majority of 13(1) are converte to 13B for easier Divorce & settlement.It is valid, No appeal, binding on both

There is nothing illegality with the subsequent petition. The earlier petition is not in existence now.
