I'am currently doing my B.Tech.Now i'am looking forward to take an account in a bank.
I've heard that one must use only the signature that was used in your 10th/+2 certificate. But i feel that my current signature is insecure for banking purpose. So is it legal to change your signature...?

ALL YOU HEARD IS RUMER.
YOU CAN SIGN IN ANY FORM AND STYLE YOU DESIRE FOR DIFFERENT A/Cs IN DIFFERENT BANKS.
BUT TIME AND AGAIN YOU WOULD BE REQUIRED TO SIGN AS SPECIMEN GIVEN BY YOU TO THE BANK FOR A PARTICULAR A/C.SO THAT BANK CAN COMPARE IT TO BE YOURS RESEMBLING YOUR SPECIMEN.

Any where you sign, you are expected to re sign the same way.
However changing signatures frequently may invite forgery and frauds. So better to adopt
uniformity in the style.Full name signatures are best in style as forgery of those becomes very very difficult.

Style may slightly change, flow and other peculiarity does not change with time i.e. letters formation, dots, tilting of letters, lines and other factors of signature. These factors help in identifying the signatures are of same person or not.

It is true that flow and other peculiarity generally do not change but style gets changed with the passage of time.
