Government teacher working press reporter

Dear All
A regular Government Elementary teacher is teaching in Punjab. Simultaneously he is also a Regular press reporter of the News Paper and Posting Political ,criminal ,Social ,Educational news daily . Is a government employee specially teacher can work along with his job and also in a condition if he is teaching in a school and covering news at the same time . Is he doing fraud with government service rules ? , Please guide. How and to whom i can post complaint against him ?His department or through court (his department officers are not listening me)

why do you want to ruin some colleague career? govt employee cannot work in any other organisation as press reporter .

But he is also ruining the future of the poor children ,Apart from the other request he is not caring anyone. so have to take action.

Whose children and what relation your have got with those poor children, whose future you feel is being ruined by the teacher and on what count ruined?

Dhingra Sir ..In government elementary school only poor or medium class children are coming to study . Richer and upper middle class send their kids to convent etc. I am social activist try to get things on the track and he is an elementary teacher. My Dad is sarpanch in the village where school located. He leaves the school in working hours and publish his news (as said above)

Mr. Mandip,
You are an Asstt Manager of some organisation, who being in the lowe rung of the management are mostly overburdened with work. So, it is hard to believe if you could get even slightest of time for activities, as a social activist.
If the teacher is working as a press reporter, his authorities must also be knowing about his activities. A teacher, that too merely an elementary teacher, is not an autonomous body not to be held liable for his negative results. If he is guilty of illegal activities, his authorities would automatically take necessary action against him. For that purpose a social activitist need not take any extraordinary pain to mend him.
Certainly, he would not have been yielding to the commands of your father, who being a sarpanch would have been trying to wield his authority over the teacher.
So, please don't try to misuse our services.
Sorry, we are not here to do harm to some one. You are welcome, if you have some personal problem to sort out.

you have already lodged complaints against the teacher with the govt . if no action is taken inspite of repeated reminders forget it .

Mr. Dhingra .. It is my fault that i have not explain to you about the entire background. Actual Yeh I am working in the Management pressure but it does not mean that i am here to ruin someone.
Actually the school is being run under our old HAVELI ,children strength is around 200 ,which was earlier 600 and school was initiated by my father after 8 years of hard work. The number of children is decreased by last 3 years ,reason behind is not to know anyone. Whenever i go there only one Female teacher is teaching ,but another male teacher (Cum Reporter) is always missed ,He has joined another party opposite to us . I am not biased ,but at least he must teach the students at least ,No doubt he is a good math teacher . We approached the DEO ,but he denied the same.
Thats the problem. I am not here to ruin someone career but if result will come lower ,school will be closed and our village has 60% family with poor and middle class. He is a good math teacher we tried to settle with him since 2 years to keep him busy in Job ,but all in vain ..

Mr. Mandip,
As you said, "if result will come lower, school will be closed," presumption has no relevance until you actually see the result. Moreover, if he is a Math teacher, he can be held responsible for his math results, not overall performance of the school.
You have also stated, "he has joined another party opposite to us." That itself brings in an element of bias and prejudice and also the intentions to harm the other fellow, more particularly when he is a Government servant.
Still further, on one hand, you have stated that "we approached the DEO" and on the other you have stated, "we have not complained against him." A clear contradiction in your own statements.
Please excuse us, we should not be used as your tool against someone just to take your revenge against him.
So, if not satisfied with his services, better make approach to the DEO to get another teacher in his replacement.

I agree with Mr Dhingra.
I will add that without making a copmplaint you cannot seek any action against any Govt employee doe snot matter you meet DEO or Secretary (Education).
If you are not biased agains thim for joining opposite party. You may be having as priority to run the school (atleast what you described).
When you father is Sarpanch he is well within his official rights (and ample power)to seek transfer of a teacher who does not teach and does not attend school. He cannot turn a blind eye.
Anyway A govt employee cannot be press reporter without written permission of department
