Affidavit of a foreign company

Dear Sir,
I filed an application for AGMARK certification.One of the ingredient is uspplied by a foregin company. They want an affidavit from the foreign supplier for compliance of certian Indian laws which the supplier is not willing to give.
My query is can an Indian Authority require an affidavit from a foreign entity which is not subject to Indian laws. If the answer is yes, where will the affidavit be executed and notatrised and how will be the stamp duty paid.

if supplier is not willing to give an affidavit then you wont get certification . the authority has to be satisfied as to the quality of ingredients used . hence they can require an affidavit from the supplier

u can give ur affidavit in that regard to indian authority as ur also well aware of whole ingredients.
