Mutual consent divorce

(Querist) 08 October 2013 This query is : Resolved
Me and my wife have decided to move on and decided to dissolve our marriage with mutual consent divorce.
We have a joint property which we plan to sell and the property also has a joint home loan.
Please advise how the money will be divided after it is sold and what happens when one person has invested more in the property than the other individual.

Both of you to decide, it will be better to decide before MCD

As you are going for divorce with mutual consent, you should also have mutual consent about the money spent on construction by each one of you and apportioning of the sale proceeds after closing the home loan.
Rajendra K Goyal (Expert) 09 October 2013
It will be a amicably agreed process. Enter an agreement before filing MCD.

I have also the similar opinion.
