Locating borrower/defaulter who fled to usa

can anyone guide me way to find the whereabouts of a person, who is a borrower of a chit for one lakh rupees for which I am the guarantor,and fled to USA along with her daughter. I understand that there are some agencies providing such information on payment. Her daughter, who is a software engineer is a co-guarantor for the chit.
will the US embassy or external affairs ministry help us find her ?

engage a detective agency . in the alternative contact his relatives . if there are any criminal cases lodged against the borrower and he has absconded then embassy may help you

it's not a repeated query, all that i want to know is that if either the indian embassy or US external affairs ministry will be able to provide me the whereabouts of the absconding defaulter/borrower or not. if anybody can advise on this it will be of some help to me.i understand that there are some agencies in USA who provide such information on payment of USD 100 or so. my earlier query was on different matter, if you can recollect.

write a letter to Indian embassy and get whereabouts of the person.
