hello sir. My parents did get the AB today itself. My question is can we proceed now for the quashing of FIR? If yes then are there any possibilities that the FIR can be launched again against my parents?
Please take a note that after marriage from 19th nov 2011, the girl ( my brother's wife ) was staying in bhuj till 3rd feb 2013. She and her family launched the FIR under section 498,3/4 at kamlanagar police station in bhopal on 6th oct 2013.
Everyone told us that since she has filed the complaint not within the six months but eight months of her stay with her parents, the FIR is not valid. Also that she was staying in Bhuj after marriage so the right place to launch the complaint is in bhuj and not bhopal.
I just wanted to know about what is the fact and what is myth.

This is not ground for quashing and quashing is rarely allowed.
Concentrate in merit of the case while it is put in trial.

Quashing on the given grounds is doubtful. You should concentrate to defend the case on merit.
