Damage to my car

Further to my earlier query regarding an illegal structure next to my flat , due to the dispute with the neighbors ( Illegal House),my car parked in my compound was damaged with white paint on the doors . I suspect it is the neighbors as this has never happened in since I came to live here ie 3 years ago . I have logged a police complaint a day ago so far no action . since I have no direct evidence ,I know they will deny , however other member of my building who are also experiencing scratches to their cars as they have also objected to the illegal building .what further worries me is that i will be away from Goa for 3 months on an assignment. The builder of the flat is not helping and is also not handing over the socity to us.
Under the circumstance what further action I can take to protect my car , flat & self.

you can keep your car with any of your friends . he can take car of the car during the 3 months you would be away on your assignment

If your neighbors are ready to help you can park your car at your allotted place.

Otherwise take help of some friend as advised by the expert.

Police Would take immediate action if the Damage is intentional.Act accordingly,You need not search any Shelter for your car when you have your own.You serve a Legal Notice thro your Lawyer to the concerned party stating any damage to your property both movable and immovable only they would be Responsible marking copy to concerned police station and their Senior Officers explaining the Events of Past.
