Issue him legal notice that you illegally collected interest from me without issuing any receipt thereof.
That you already repaid the entire loan, and as you said you misplaced the cheque, you also collected cheques for security, which you return within 7 days. & do not deposit any cheque in bank.

Blank cheques are in their possession, they can fill it and get it bounced. You are liable to face cases for cheating and 138 NI Act.
If the police is not lodging your FIR, you can file complaint in court for blackmailing, cheating etc.
Consult a local lawyer and reply the notice from them denying any liability.
