After acquittion can i claim compensation/complain against cops for false case agnst me

Hello Sir,
The cops had regd a false case against me and threatened and compelled the witnesses to sign the FIR or they would be put in the lock up. The complainant is illiterate and does not understand the local language. The cops did it to take revenge. However last month I was acquitted by the session court in the case regd u/s 307/354. Pls advice if I can claim compensation and request an enquiry against the cops for filing a false case against me. And what is the time limit and whom are the authorities , that I can approach. Is there any risk involved, if I complain against the cops.
2]Although I was acquitted, the learned court has asked for a surety for another six months, while the earlier bail has been cancelled. Can I request the court to accept a personal or cash surety. Pls advice

You can file a petition in the State Human Rights commission. In case of violation by the police, the Commission will award compensation to you.
