Respected Sir/Mam,
My Name is Vara Prasad i want change my cast from OC to Lower cast(sc/st) because of OC tag we r loosing so many opportunities in various sectors i.e Education, jobs, age relaxations. Best Ex: for bank jobs OC/BC ₹ 500/-, others nil or ₹ 100.So i want change my cast
Please help in this regards.

change of caste is the not like having tea at will.
If you are eligible then only you can change caste after complying many formalities.

change of cast is not permissible. Cast status is acquired only by birth.

Merely if SC/ST are getting concession one cannot change his cast.
Otherwise what else is the example of fraud?

Just because of the privileges and reliefs bestowed upon by the government to certain category of community, the person who do not belong to that community cannot demand the said privilege quoting his low economic status by expressing his willingness to convert to that caste.It is absurd. Please understand what you wanted o clarify before posting a query or atleast consult some people in your circle about this and if you are not satisfied with their reply, you may approach this forum with proper issue.
