my house is in chennai while I am in mumbai. queries:
1. Can I make the agreement in Mumbai subject to mumbai jurisdiction with address of chennai and lessee also from chennai
2. what is value of stamp paper ? or can I just frank in Mumbai ?

no you cant have jurisdiction of Mumbai when property is in Chennai and licencsee is in Chennai .stamp duty rate differs from state to state

For a property in Chennai, to make an agreement in Mumbai, a lawyer from Delhi cannot be contacted for completing the task. How many more questions do you have in store of this nature?

Shri Kalaiselvan, your reply seems strange, vague and somewhat sarcastic sorry to say. It is because I am not aware the question was posed. I am not an expert in law...can't understand what you mean by "how many more questions do you have in store of this nature". You are not obliged to answer.But please refrain from asking such meaningless questions. I have got my answers from more knowledgable and humble members - Shroff, Ajay Sethi, Sudhir Kumar, Sunil Nair,Rajendra, Barman and each of their replies is to the point.
