my friend registered a case 498A against her in laws and husband in A.P.khammam district.she registerd it as her husband beating and threatning her as she opposed his extra marital relationship.her in laws comes in support of their son.In dat small village she has nothing.she suffered a lot bcoz of their relatives.so she came back to maharastra and now lives with me for job purpose (Propr From -Akola). everytime when she did go there to attend the case police and others r harassing her. in dat village she knows nobody. and her husband is wealthy person who twisted facts on money and also threatning her.her husband already living with another girl and had a child. so she decided not to go there again.now she saw case status is for the want of cc/prc no. Does dis means case is finished?

You can get the information from the Police under RTI Act, as well.
Devajyoti Barman (Expert) 10 August 2014
you better engage a local lawyer. you need not visit the place to know the case status.

You does not seem to be aware of what exactly you want to know.
T. Kalaiselvan, Advocate (Expert) 10 August 2014
The case might be pending in the concerned court after police submitted their report, may be pending for being taken on file by the court for some specific reason, better to get it clarified through a local advocate.
