Seepage from terrace

Hello,
I am staying on top floor and there is a water seepage from terrace in my house. society is not repairing terrace after so many complain given in writing.
Is there any provision in law to force society to get it done for this repair. I want to know that act # or any SC judgement in favour of applicant.
I am from Ahmedabad - Gujarat.

Got Ans. from expert :
1. send legal notice to society
2. Repair can be done by me and that expenses adjust from maintenance.
my query to from your ans. is
1. sending legal notice to society through lawyer?
2. estimate repair expenses is more then yearly maintenance.So how to adjust from monthly maintenance.And if i not pay maintenance , society will charge me penalty or they will stop facility.

society is bound to carry out repairs to terrace . if society refuses to do so move consumer forum against society for deficiency in service . dont carry out any repairs on your own

Is there any SC judgement / act in favor of landlord or house occupier for such case.
Because every state having their own rules and act for housing society.
If I hire lawyer, then also those expenses i have to bare. How to locate consumer forum in my city.

Hello Mr.Ajay Shethi,
I met admin person @ consumer forum. As per them i am not a customer of society. So my problem can not be enter into consumer court.
pls suggest .... IS it a true statement from consumer forum or i can still file my case officially

seepage is very common problem and u can file case in CF.
