hello i am nandhini i was born in thanjvur in that my father name is registered as kannan(his pet name) but his original name is gopalakrishnan i have every proof to show my father name as gopalakrishnan and then for the name of kannan idont have any proof only invitation is there.but in thanjvur corporation they are not changing my father name...i need to change this what i have to do...i need a proper solution

you can give gazette notification and give that notification copy to corp office, or get Affidavit.

Kannan Name is entered in the Birth Register with names of mother & father-first Child /Second /Third child, Co-Relate with your family to the satisfaction of the competent Authority under Births and Deaths Act with local applicable Rules , if refused , take an orders on appeal from Revenue Divisional Officer (as in the AP & Telangana Competent Authority) for orders amendments in the Registers of Births and Deaths ,
