Marriage in prison

Hello Experts

i have a query regarding marriage in prison. can you please help me out in this query that is there any law regarding the marriage of a boy who is undertrial in the murder case. he is in prison since march 2013. please help me with some authority or judgement of any court that allows a boy in prison to marry a girl.

Though in Prison he is a Human being first and not an animal, as such he has all the civil and political rights though in Jail as regulated by laws, as such he can marry though in jail. I have not come across any case on the subject but you may go through the case as reported in 1978-CRLJ-1741-SC: where you will find the memorable quotes of Charles Dickens, Oscar Wilde and Pundit Nehru etc. Yes, why not, he can marry.

Bail is rejected. So we moved application in the court for marriage. Judge asked to bring specific law that shows a person can marry in prison

There is no law forbidding the solemnisation of marriage in prison.
