If the Daughter is adopted by relatives, what is the rights of the adopted daughter in the Ancestor property? is she can claim equal rights in ancestor property?
if the adoption is not registered does it make any difference? Can we prove it orallay?

1. The adoption requires due registration through process of court. Oral adoption has no legal significance.
2. U/s 12 (10(c) of the Hindu Adoption & Maintenance Act, 1956, the adoptive child will have legal right in her original parents property that which stood before adoption and can have such right in her adoptive parent's property also.

An adopted child shall be deemed to be the child of his or her adoptive father or mother for all purposes with effect from the date of the adoption and from such date all the ties of the child in the family of his or her birth shall be deemed to be severed and replaced by those created by the adoption in the adoptive family.
