Change of advocate / additional advocate

sir,
I suspect integrity and loyalty of my advocate appointed in summary lavad suit filed by bank against me.
can I remove him and appoint another advocate.
if not, can I put one additional advocate to join the said suit.
In above action, is it compulsory to obtain NOC from my present already appointed advocate . If he does not give NOC is there any way out.
kindly guide me.

YOU HAVE EVERY RIGHT TO ENGAGE A COUNSEL OF YOUR CHOICE. YOU SHOULD TAKE NOC FROM THE PRESENT COUNSEL, WHICH NORMALLY THE COUNSELS WILL NOT REFUSE TO GIVE UNLESS THEIR PROFESSIONAL FEE IS CLEARED. AFTER OBTAINING NOC FROM THE PRESENT COUNSEL YOU CAN ENGAGE ANY OTHER COUNSEL OF YOUR CHOICE.

yes, NOC from previous advocate is must to appoint new one.

You can engage new lawyer, try to take NOC by clearing any pending dues of the previous lawyer.
