Sir
In case of my friend ,the relation in husband and wife is already disturbed,andvwife living with her parents.Now,SHO has called ,husband over phone to visit ps .How to know whether FIR is lodged or not.whether verbal order over phone should be obeyed .he also said to
Thanks.come with goodsor gifts given in marriage.whether written order to be insisted or to manage anticipatory bail.

See communication on Phone can also be considered as the proper and valid communication from the SHO. In case he is calling you for the inquiry of the case it is OK however as far the returning of the Stridhan can also be preffered through court proceedings, in case she is demanding her stri dhan she should write a list of that and only after accepting that list in full or in part you should return the goods and also take a proper receipt of it with the sign of at least two witnesses.
In case you will not go and meet SHO he can send Police men to call you at your residence so it is better you meet him and there insist him that you will return all her belongings by the court orders only or in the presence of at least two witnesses from each side and on a written receipt.
At this stage there is no need of taking Bail first the case will be reffered in CAW cell for mediation and only then after it will be converted in to FIR.

It depends how best you annoy the SHO.
He may send a decent plain clothsman to you or he can send the most foul mouthed pieces in his staff.

In my opinion, the police may have a plan to trap you and remand you appreciating the grafts received from the other side, so it is better you obtain anticipatory bail and then attend the police station.
If they provide a list of her articles held by you, after verification of the list, you can prepare a list of actual articles lying with you, make two copies issue a coy to her and get her signature in another copy held by you and return the articles.
