(Querist) 23 April 2016 This query is : Resolved
what is limit of time period under the Maharashtra public trust act u/s sec 36 (2)
by which trust can lease out its built property without permission of charity commissioner? is there any latest amendment or it is 36 months (3 ) years ?
Guest (Expert) 24 April 2016
36 (1) (b) no lease for a period exceeding ten years in the case of agricultural land or for a period exceeding three years in the case of non-agricultural land or a building, belonging to a public trust, shall be valid without the previous sanction of the Charity Commissioner.

-------------------------------------------
I Checked from Official Bare Act & also 2016 latest amendment . Latest amendment is concentrating on winding up of trust . So no other changes in Maharashtra Public Trust Act.

If you want PDF - English copy of Maharashtra Public trust Act and 2016 amendment send email to me - kmadhu786@gmail.com

It is already in my database
