Regarding

Hi
I have some shares pledged against as security in my bank. The bank had earlier cancelled the lien mark. What the bank has is old share certificates. Those share certificates are no more valid. And I have the new share certificates. In this context is it legally correct/possible to sell my shares without the banks consent?

Sinceyour bank has earlier cancelled th lien mark the pledge purporting to be as security is automaatically cancelled then such the loan or transaction with your bank is repaid or squared off with your bank it is then the new shares certificates are valid and such you may not require any consent while selling those shares.
