Sale deed requirement of Resale flat

I am buying a flat in Nagpur. Building constructed in 2007. I have applied for home loan in sbi. I have provided DoD of year 2007 & all the chained sale deeds from 2007 to present. Still bank is asking for sale deeds before 2007 about plot ownership & farm & all. Owner don't have papers before year 2007. Is it must to provide old sale deeds of even before the construction of building?

It is always better to check 30years record,you can file EC with the survey no and from EC you can find out the document no and apply for the copy of the same.this you can do on your own for your own benefit.

EC is Encumbrance Certificate. You can obtain the same from the Sub Registrar's Office.

Bank ask for chain documents for 30 years, try to get these from registrar / revenue department.

Respected All,
Thanks for your valuable suggestions. I want loan from sbi as early as possible. Already 8-10 flat owners have taken loan from sbi from the same buiding. Master copy already submitted by the builder to sbi in 2007. EC & all i will do, it takes time. But I wish to saction my lone on urgent basis. Can bank or advocate restrict me?
& all documents after 2007 are with me.

Any lender can decline to lend.
However banks are under obligation to communicate the reason.
You can request the BM to fasten the process.

Why the Bank is not sanctioning loan in such conditions?

The master copy and other requirements were for other properties, did you submit a master copy from your side.
The bank has all rights to demand legal documents if it has even slightest doubt on certain document produced by you. The bank panel advocate can call for more reliable documents to give his opinion about your property, so if you are not happy with this bank you may approach some other bank which eases the loan norms and can grant loan expeditiously than SBI.
