One Surety is enough or what in a 498 A case (case in court is pending due to the inconvenience of parties to attend), wherein there is already a mutual settlement and both husband and wife are staying together for the last 10 months...

If both parties mutually settled their dispute and living together for last 10 months, what for the section 498A IPC criminal complaint continues in the court? Let the wife make statement for withdrawal of her criminal complaint and get the criminal case dismissed in the trial court, husband being acquitted of all charges.
