dear respected sir
i stay in chandrapur (m.s) and my mother stays in akola (m.s)
we both own a property in pune (m.s) and we want to sell it know, i want to give the power of attorney to my mother .
so can i file the papers here in chandrapur, or do i have to go to akol or pune to file for the same,
please help , kindly help me with the procedure.

Yes, you can appoint your mother as your agent to sell the property situate at Pune and register the GPA at Chandrapur. While executing the sale deed at Pune, she has to present the original GPA to the sub-registrar

You need to execute the deed of Power of Attorney on Rs. 100 /- stamp paper. Have two witnesses. You and your mother shall sign the document.

If you want to go for registration of that document, you need to visit the Sub-Registrar's office, produce xerox copies of sale deed (purchase deed)of the property and latest tax paid receipt. Cost involved in registration is huge. On the market price of the property, abut 7 to 8 per cent would be the stamp duty and then add registration charges.
