Cause list

Querist : Anonymous (Querist) 21 March 2025 This query is : Resolved
Can a person who is not the petitioner or the respondent in the case apply for an immediate listing of the SLP filed in the Supreme Court (which is already ordered for NMD for fixed month , but not listed yet)? (Because Similar cases have been pending in the High Court for years waiting for the verdict of this SLP. So we are wasting our time, money and lives.)
T. Kalaiselvan, Advocate Online (Expert) 22 March 2025
A person who is not a party to the pending case before supreme court cannot request the court for listing the matter in the earliest list or any list, no such petition will be entertained from outsiders
Dr. J C Vashista (Expert) 23 March 2025
No, you are not a party/ entitled/ eligible to approach Supreme Court in a pending SLP.
