Dear learned members,
I have a situation here with regard to the temple administration.
In my village, there is an old temple with immovable properties and some regular income(generated out of said properties and the activities carried out in the temple.)
There is no Doner, Settlor, Owner with regard to the temple. No Trust, Society etc., in the name of the temple. Till now few recognized localities along with the temple priests were utilizing the income of the temple for various purpose. Now the villagers have interfered and seriously wanted an association or trust or society etc., to be formed and registered. Few selected villagers will represent on behalf of all the villagers.
Now the problem is:-
To create a Trust there is no Settlor or Donor. The Properties are in the name of the Temple (in the revenue records).
Kindly advise which kind of action is suitable? Whether to form a Trust or any other alternative?

Form an association or society, make bye-laws.
Register it as per societies registration act.
