how to get my floor registered legally

i wnt to legally register my floor as divided by my father ...i hve separate electric connection for my floor would tht work?

Simple, you may be arranged a proper partition deed on stamp paper with two witness.. And register the same before the concern sub registrar. Very simple.

Have the gift deed from father and get that registered.
