caste certificate vs school leaving certificate (tc)

respected sir,
My caste is different in my SCHOOL TC and the CASTE CERTIFICATE ISSUED BY TEHSIL. DIST.TEHSIL office issued my caste certificate after varifying my parent's caste certificate as a proof of my caste as i didnot have any photocopy of my school records. both the castes mentioned (one in caste certificate and other in TC) belong to different OBCs .. now i am going to need caste certificate for taking admission to postgraduate college study.

MY question is, can the new college authority make any objections later when they will receive the TC from my old college? can i go back to my old college(where i finished my degree without any reservations, as i had secured that seat under general merit itself) and change the caste according to my CASTE CERTIFICATE? which certificate holds more weightage wen it comes to CASTE AND CATEGORY - CASTE CERTIFICATE ISSUED BY TEHSIL OR COLLEGE/SCHOOL TRANSFER CERTIFICATE ?

It would be advisable for you to get back to your old college where you say you got the seat under general merit itself. This is the time for you to concentrate on your studies rather than wasting time and energy in fighting on the correctness or otherwise of the caste certificate.
Once you are continuing your post graduate study, you should work for removing the any discrepancies that may be their in regard to your exact caste.
