I just wanted to know that what is the age limit to buy any property
R.Ramachandran (Expert) 29 September 2011
Any person who is a major can enter into a contract and buy property.
A major (say father or mother) can buy a property in the name of their child who is a 'minor'.
Sailesh Kumar Shah (Expert) 29 September 2011
1.18 years by self
2.in case of minor(below 18 Years), purchase through parents.

ajay sethi (Expert) 29 September 2011
i agree with shailesh shah bike cannot be registered in your name as you are minor .
R.Ramachandran (Expert) 29 September 2011
Yes. When I said that a major can buy a property in the name of a minor, I meant immovable property. Certainly not movable property and that too a Motor Bike. I agree with the views of Mr. Shailesh that since you are a minor, motor bike cannot be registered in your name.

But you can get a license to ride on bike when your father consents it provided you are
15,though not your query, but i feed it guessing the zeal you have for a bike. That way at least your driving zeal can get satisfied.
