Any person who is a major can enter into a contract and buy property. A major (say father or mother) can buy a property in the name of their child who is a 'minor'.

i agree with shailesh shah bike cannot be registered in your name as you are minor .

Yes. When I said that a major can buy a property in the name of a minor, I meant immovable property. Certainly not movable property and that too a Motor Bike. I agree with the views of Mr. Shailesh that since you are a minor, motor bike cannot be registered in your name.

lower limit is 18 yrs and upper is till one is alive.

But you can get a license to ride on bike when your father consents it provided you are 15,though not your query,but i feed it guessing the zeal you have for a bike.That way at least your driving zeal can get satisfied.
