What is the Difference between Further Investigation and Re-investigation...Plz Cite Some case laws relating to this matter....

The term "further investigation" denotes more investigation in addition to the existing results of investigation. On the other hand, the term "reinvestigation" denotes a fresh & independent investigation ignoring the outcome of the previous investigation, which may be faulty, biased, aginst the provisions of law, or made by some incompetent or prejudiced investigator.
