sir i took some of the doucments from rti act from police station. after taking the documents, police entered in RTI book what ever i have taken. again i took that RTI Book extract wherein my details which i took under rti act has been recoreded. . the RTI Book extract which i took will come under public document or not. in this case if i am holding RTI book extract need to call PUBLIC information officer to the court to prove the document.

Yes it is public document and need not to call the authority any body to prove it, unless it's veracity is challenged by opposite party.

If the other party objects, the PIO need to be called to prove the authenticity of the documents.
