Respected Sir,
I have SBI A/C 30221740429 with Sadulshahar branch in Sriganganagar district of Rajasthan (Branch Code 1779).
I tried to get 20000 on 03 Mar, 2012 from my a/c through SBI ATM located in sadulshahar , money got deducted but i didn't get money.
I tried to get 20000 on 04 Mar, 2012 from my a/c through SBI ATM located in sadulshahar , money got deducted but i didn't get money.
20000 rs got credited back into my account on 05 Mar 2012.

I was not sure which amount i got back the onewhich got deducted on 03 or on 04 Mar.
I raised two complaints on SBI Helpdesk-
One for tx made on 03 Mar - AT17794244836
Another for tx made on 04 Mar - AT17794421967
For both tx they closed the ticket saying amount got credited back in my account on 05 Mar.But i got this amount once only.
When i got these tx printed on passbook it was showing same tx id for both tx. 5347

Its almost 2 months i am roaming here and there to get any resolution. Please have a look into this matter with priority as i need to pay this amount for my fee.

First lodge complaint with the Banking Ombudsman.
If it fails to give you any relief then file complaint to the Consumer Forum.

Send a notice to the Bank addressing the manager through registered post. Better to get it drafted from a lawyer. Demand them to reimburse the money within 15 days or so. If they fail to do so in 15 days, you can file a complaint with the banking ombudsman or directly to the Reserve Bank of India.
The other option available is to file a consumer complaint where you can claim the money deducted as well as damages, compensation for harassment, expenses incurred etc.

Demand statement of account and verify the entries both on debit and credit side. If you find any difference, you may address a letter to the customer cell of the bank and the branch concerned to set right the account immediately and inform you. Other-wise your remedy is open in Banking Ombuds-man in Reserve Bank of India located in every State Capital
