How to file a petition for life in danger

My 3 cousin brothers have threatened me for my life.
They came to my house and started abusing and were drunk. They were about tbeaat me but my wife locked the main gate and then after 15 min they left.
What can I do now to let them know that this a criminal offence.

As it is a non-cognizable offence, you may have to move court thereafter.

Hi,
In view of the facts stated by you, the only remedy available is to file an application before concerned police under Sections 107/117 Cr.P.C.
OR
Lodge a private complaint u/s.506 IPC before a Judicial Magistrate who may,in exercise of powers u/ss.155 & 156 Cr.P.C. forward the same for registration of FIR.
