it seems your wife is getting ready to file case against you under Dv act .

does your wife have any email id .

send her emails requesting her to come back . in said email do mention that you have never raised your hands on her . that you love her a lot and want her to come back

Anticipate 498A and DV Act any time.
This is a common feature.I would suggest you to mediate again along with elders and ask her to come back,and if she agrees go for a family councelling, as your marital life is still tender.If they are still adamant,file RCR before they approach the court of law.

you may be a well educated family but it is your wife case that you were tortring her . so she can under Dv act seek a protection order and other reliefs
