Noc from society for selling the property

hi this is sadique i have purchased a property in Mira road dist thane Maharashtra in the month of December and now due to some family issues and my financial problems i am unable to arrange my EMI so that i had planned to sell out the same to ease the financial situation , i had requested my society to give me an NOC for selling the same and give my outstanding details if any are there , the response i got from my society is that i have only 758 rupees outstanding and the society denied NOC for selling the flat as they don't allow to dispose the property within a years time ...
can anyone suggest that the same is legal weather its written in society by laws and how can i get NOC on this ground..please suggest

society is perfectly justifed . you cannot ssell your flat for period of one year
