Q1.whats the power of RTO in maintance act of 2007

ANSWER:1.UNDER Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007 THE TRIBUNAL HAS POWER TO AWARD MAINTENANCE SUBJECT TO MAXIMUM OF RS. TEN THOUSAND.MANY MORE POWERS ARE THERE VESTED IN THE TRIBUNAL.

Q2.whether she can cancel a gift type registration? is it valid?

ANSWER:2.YES! IT CAN SUBJECT TO PROVISIONS CONTAINED IN SECTION 23 OF THE ACT.

Q3.or i can appeal in court if i m not satisfied with her decision?

ANSWER:3.APPEAL AGAINST ORDER OF TRIBUNAL LIES ONLY IN TERMS LAID IN SECTION 16 OF THE ACT AND IS AVAILABLE TO SENIOR CITIZEN OR PARENT ONLY WHEN S/HE FEELS AGGRIEVED BY
ORDER OF THE TRIBUNAL AND TIME PRESCRIBED FOR THAT APPEAL IS 60 DAYS AND DELAY CAN BE CONDONED.

SO IF YOU ARE ONE AGAINST WHOM ORDER OF MAINTENANCE HAS BEEN PASSED BY THE TRIBUNAL,YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO FILE APPEAL.

ONLY WRIT MAY BE COURSE OPEN TO YOU.
