hi, the obiter dicta of any judgement are not binding on other courts, but is their any example where a judge has based his decision on the obiter dicta of a previous case? examples from indo-pak judiary will be of great help to me,

there is an judgement before me in which the obiter dicta goes in favour of the appellant but the binding decision is against the same. now can there be any influence of obiter of such cases on upcoming similar cases?
