Dhana settlement

My GrandFather is doing a Dhana settlement to his 3 sons.

1. My father is giving his share to me as i am his only son.

2. One of my uncle is selling his share to me.

My Question is Can a dhana settlement be done in my name instead of my uncle & my father's name?. Objective is to reduce the registration and documentation cost. Pls assist.

your garandfather can execute will bequeathing 1/3rd property to you . save you stamp duty and registration cost .

as far as your uncle is concerned on your grand father bequeathing property to him he can subseqnetly execute deed of relinquishment in your favour . attracts nominal stamp duty .
